I had my 38 week check-up on Tuesday and we’re moving right along. My doctor is out of town Friday-Monday, so I’m praying that I don’t deliver before next Tuesday. She has warned me to stop walking on the treadmill and no shenanigans between the hubby and me (TMI?).
I so much want to start new projects and get stuff done around here, but my body is telling me no. This is the hard part for me. I don’t sit still very well. The kiddos don’t do well with it either. I often get, “When is daddy going to be home?” I often ask that question too ;) What can I say? It’s part of life and we’ll all get over it soon enough. Call me crazy, but I’m actually looking forward to those middle of the night nursing sessions. Good quality bonding time and get a little reading in most likely.
A friend recently told me about an online garage sale site in my new community. Hi, My name is Lisa and I’m a garage sale addict. I find things for $1 and go crazy. It truly is a problem I have. Granted, I’ve posted things and sold them too, so that justifies it…right?
We’ve been spending every evening in the backyard because it’s been super nice out and summer is almost over – yey! When you live in AZ, summer is not fun. Love me a good winter down here though :) I’ve never noticed it until now, but we live really close to a church and the bells go off every evening at 6 o’clock. I tend to stop what I’m doing and purely enjoy listening to them. It brings a sort of calmness and peace to me. I love it.
The kids and I ventured to “The Walmart” (I despise the place and desperately miss my Target) and they usually have a cart of doughnuts made that morning marked down to 40% off. I am super good about leaving that naughty rack alone, but yesterday…I caved. It happens. I had 2 of the 6 in the box (1 for me and 1 for the baby of course). Dang, they hit the spot.
Since I haven’t really blogged about food/crafting and all the project-kind of stuff, I’ve been catching up on some of the bloggers I follow. It appears that everyone is in house remodel mode. I can’t help but be a tad envious of that. I just keep telling myself to enjoy the now and it will happen eventually (even if I have a 0, 2 and 4 year old). I just love me a good home project. Drives the hubby nuts :-) Although, after all is said and done, he tends to like the final project…most times.
Last weekend, we did some belly shots. I do this with each pregnancy and am so glad I do. I enjoy being pregnant all the way to week 36, then it gets uncomfortable and I’m ready to be done. Allison did so well with the pics and as for Liam, well…let’s just say his little attitude was too cute not to laugh at. The pictures show it all ;) Enjoy!
He has dimples like his daddy :-) (Didn’t know the hubby captured this, but I’m glad he did.)
Little Miss loves to touch and kiss my belly all of the time. Little Man, on the other hand, well…he was trying to pull my shirt down and did not want to see the baby.
Yup, this pretty much tells you his attitude during this photo shoot. This is his “mad” look. He’s still too cute and this is one of my favorites.
These two melt my heart. I captured this while getting the camera setup. It’s like looking at double trouble…can’t wait to make it triple. Are they not the cutest?! I might be biased, but they really are :-)
They turned out great!
I agree…you done good ;)
Great pictures! Wish they had digital when I was pregnant! You are so fortunate to be a stay-at-home mom!
Love love love the pictures! The “mad face” was the best :) Your 2 trouble makers have the same chin, smile, and nose – too cute! Thanks for sharing…you’re so much braver (and cuter) than I was with my baby belly!
Awe, thanks! Yes, Liam is “mad” quite often. I thank Allison for that one…he’s her little copy cat. I have to do the belly pics b/c that’s the only proof I have that they’re mine! LOL They do look a lot like their daddy :) Every once in a while I see me, but it’s rare. You looked cute pregnant too! I remember with both girls you had a cute little tummy :) I always get the question, “Are you sure it’s not twins?!” Nope, just a 10lb whopper ;)
